Ayden always wanted to be a financial planner – she just didn’t know it. Her interest in finance was ignited when she started her first business at the age of 12 – walking dogs in the neighbourhood. By 18, she was self-reliant and learning as much as she could about managing her personal finances wisely – budgeting, avoiding reckless spending, and building up emergency savings. But it was the Covid-19 pandemic that led to Ayden’s entering the profession.
After returning to South Africa from Florida on a repatriation flight, she took a temporary job as an administrator for a financial planning company. Ayden had found her career. She has completed a Higher Certificate and an Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning and is in the process of completing her Post Grad.
It’s the personal nature of lifestyle financial planning that Ayden finds most rewarding. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients while helping them achieve their financial goals, learning their unique stories and understanding their motivations. "Witnessing our clients thrive and make the most of their resources truly makes this profession meaningful to me," she says.
